In February 2020, Brian Korte was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects — an honour held by a small fraction of practising architects.
Brian joined the firm in 2015 and leads the San Antonio studio from the Green Gate Building on the Riverwalk, a three-level space that has been, in its time, a burlesque club and a Christian night club before we renovated it.
In October of the same year the practice changed its name to Clayton Korte, signalling a change in leadership, ownership and design direction. The focus did not change: layered, rich places that celebrate their environment and exalt the human experience.
