Fulldraw Winery

Fulldraw Vineyard sits on 100 acres of established vineyard in the Templeton Gap AVA, where limestone soils and a cool maritime climate suit Rhône-style varietals. A long looping drive carries visitors through the vines before the buildings appear.

The complex is three buildings: a 6,972-square-foot fermentation building with administrative and staff space, a 2,170-square-foot barrel-aging and case-goods store, and a second-phase hospitality building. The first two are joined by a generous covered crush pad.

Responding to topography, sun and prevailing breezes, the steel-framed fermentation building holds open-air spaces that cross-ventilate, use night cooling and work in ample daylight. Painted and weathered steel, burnished concrete masonry and fibre cement mirror the durable palette already on the ranch, and an integrated photovoltaic system reduces reliance on the utility.
